North Thompson

The scenic North Thompson Region is located in British Columbia’s Central Interior. It starts north of Kamloops and straddles the North Thompson River and the Yellowhead Highway (Highway 5) and includes Wells Gray Park. The area is lightly populated and offers a wide range of outdoor recreation year round. The climate is less dry than the Okanagan to the south. Summers are warm and sunny; winters feature abundant snow.
