Waterfall Wells Gray Provincial Park, just one hour’s drive from Alpine Meadows Resort, is one of the largest parks in British Columbia, encompassing over 540,000 hectares of majestic wilderness. From massive glacial fed lakes to towering mountain alpine peaks, Wells Gray Provincial Park offers visitors the chance to experience a truly wild part of the province. The park is home to a variety of large mammals, such as deer, moose, black bears, mountain goats, and caribou found in alpine areas even the fabled grizzly bear. The park offers adventure seekers a multitude of hiking trails to travel, maintained and rustic camping, as well as a number of excellent paddling routes.
